Only Airhostesses weight does matter for airlines due to some rules and some demand. The demand is the world new think, Slim and young girl looks pretty and beauty too. It is not that mean those slim and beauty girls are able to be an air hostess when they can’t speak good English and they do not understand what “Toast” means.

The rules prescribe different weight limits according to their height and age. For an 18-19 years old girl with the height of 152cm should have up to 50kg is required. Moreover, those air hostess who are in the age group of 25-30 with the same height (152cm) must be below 56kg.

Of course, Air India and Nepal airlines have very overweight and old airhostesses. They are may be working from past several years. In this new era, Air hostess are sales person who has to sell the foods and other luxuries items to the customers. Because, most of the airlines become as a budget in flight charge and their policy is doing business in flight time. Therefore, we are suggesting some secret rules for air hostess.

Secret Rules for air hostesses:

Rule: Air hostesses should remember that they are, first and foremost, sales persons. They are responsible for selling stale trail mix, and other items, which are available in airlines. Unfortunately, airlines do not yet sell water, so air hostesses should refrain from handing out water unless specifically requested by passengers. Even then, they should provide water only in tiny water cups.

Rule: All air hostesses should wear high heels that are at least 2-3 inches high. Heels helps you to look extra height with prior approval.

Rule: Make up is very important. Nail polish and lipstick should always be bright red in color. Also, make-up should be applied not to heavy, so the face looks good, contrasting with the bright red lipstick. Eyes should be made up by long brow. This appearance, will help to the airhostess face smiley.

Rule: Hair color should be brown to sign in light. Or it should be black. Red and orange highlights are not recommended.

Rule: Air hostesses should give the appearance of smiling at passengers. But genuine smiles (laughing loudly) are not recommended, in case the passengers get too friendly and request additional cups of water, newspapers or other services currently free.

The airlines take interaction with passengers very seriously. Hidden cameras will be placed above each seat to monitor whether air hostesses chat with passengers or otherwise indulge in courteous behavior. Such behavior can attract disciplinary action. Air hostesses are not permitted to be rude to economy class passengers, and also to smile when passengers depart the plane.

Perhaps there are more. Certainly the airlines seem to invent a new rule every day, and you just have to open the papers to learn about it. So readers, can you suggest more rules for air hostesses that you have come across?

An Experience

Have you heard the stories about air travel these days? If they’re to be believed, then the simple act of arriving at an airport and boarding a plane is a nightmare of checkpoints, lines, and wasted time. These stories are extremely common; fortunately for us, though, they’re almost always exaggerated.

It’s true that there is heightened security at airports today, which means that you’ll pass through more checkpoints and wait in more lines, and your loved ones can’t accompany you to and from the gate. That’s just about the extent of the changes, however, and flight delays have existed for as long as people have been flying commercially.

Still, there definitely some precautions you can take that will get you in and out of the airport smoothly. Here are a few ways to reduce the headache of air travel.

The definition of “packing light” varies from person to person. Some people think that only bringing four whole outfits for a one-day trip is packing light. If you tend to think this way, you might have a hard time adjusting to this first tip. Try to go without bringing any checked luggage at all, taking just your carry-on with you on your trip.

To get everything you need in your carry-on, you’ll have to maximize its space by choosing items of clothing that can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits. If you can get everything in your carry-on you’ll save the trouble of waiting in line for your checked luggage.

You’ll also save time since you don’t have to pick up your checked luggage at baggage claim once the plane lands. Your carry-on will be with you and ready to go as soon as you touch down. If you’re not taking a carry-on you might be able to check in via the airport’s website before you even make the trip out there, which will save you from yet another line.

Be careful about what you bring in your luggage; don’t take anything that could possibly be considered a weapon by security. If you have to ask whether a particular item is safe, take that as a sign and leave it at home.

Sharp and metallic objects such as scissors are not allowed on planes, and neither are incendiaries such as matches and flammable liquids. Liquids are now acceptable for air travel as long as they’re in a clear, plastic bag with a zipper and it’s a reasonable volume of liquid.

They deliver board announcement and any missing emergency equipment items to the pilots after the preflight check. They generally operate the doors during routine flights as well as hold the noticeable and accountable and required paper work and reports for each flight. To reach that positions the crew members, flight attendant and air hostess have to be lot of experience with in the flight services. They earn more than air hostess and the flight attendant because of added responsibility.

Flight crew members do some sort of paper work which able them to keep in mind even small and miscelleneous things. These miscelleneous things can be very important for the passengers as well as them too.

Air Hostess Resume

INTRODUCTION

Finding a job through the good resume is one of the best ways for the job seekers. There are as many opinions on the topic of job resumes as there are job seekers! Some of the more popular opinions are centered on the use of objectives, summaries, profiles, title headings, keywords, reference statements, personal interests, salary history, dates, graphics, fonts, and of course, the length of the resume.

On the other hand, what makes the resumes as best and attractive to the job providers? Here we says, resumes should be the stylist, should be chronological, functional or combination. One thing is certain – the resume should sell a candidate’s strengths and qualifications, and answer a hiring manager’s question, “How can you solve my problem?” It should also have full contact information, be organized, and provide specific information that a hiring manager needs to decide whether or not a candidate is well suited for a position. At the very least, it should list relevant experience and achievements. And also seems your resume should touch the requirements of the company as well.

PURPOSE OF A JOB RESUME

Job resume is a personal promotion document that communicates your career objective and value to a hiring company. A strong resume is carefully planned and developed in an appropriate format (style) designed to highlight your experience and accomplishments in direct relation to a specific position.

BASIC JOB RESUME FORMATTING RULES

Bold and enlarge your name at the top.

Keep the sections lined up and consistent.

Use user-friendly fonts.

Font size should not be smaller than 11pt or larger than 12pt, your Name and Headings must be bold.

Do not include pronouns such as “I,” company street addresses, salary, or reasons for leaving.

Two-page job resume: be sure to fill the second page at least halfway down the page.

Place “Continued” at the bottom of page one, and your name and “Page 2” at the top of page two.

Use graphics sparingly unless you are in a creative field. It is safe to use a border and shading.

Leave out personal data, photos, and unrelated hobbies, unless you are an actor/actress or model.

If you spell out the state in your address, such as New York, spell out the states for your jobs.

Proof, proof, and proof again!

To help you understand the main differences between various jobs resume styles, the following illustrates the same job resume in chronological, functional, and combination formats. Also provided below is a comprehensive list of common mistakes to avoid and useful tips to help your resume to compete in today’s competitive world:

CHRONOLOGICAL

This is the most commonly used job resume format. It is straightforward, and easily traces a candidate’s career path and progression in a given field. Experience and accomplishments are listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent job positioned first. Because it leaves little to the imagination and makes it difficult to hide employment gaps, the chronological job resume is the most preferred format of employers and recruiters.

Chronological Format Example:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Delta Air, New York, USA 2009 – Present

Air Hostess

Working as Airhostess on International Flights and working on frequently hours.

FUNCTIONAL JOB RESUME

This is a skills-based, achievement-oriented job resume format. Experience and accomplishments are listed in sections with specific headings that extract and highlight only what is directly applicable to the targeted position. Because it is somewhat vague sometimes omits dates, it is the least preferred resume format of employers and recruiters.

Functional job resume Format Example:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sales Management

Prospected and sold communications services to business accounts spanning the Northeast and Midwest regions.

Conducted, as a competitive analytics on European markets, and have to formulate conceptual strategies that cemented key alliances with distributors throughout Italy and Germany.

Market Penetration

Consulted clients on the cost-effective advantages of switching over from standing services, resulting in a 15% new market penetration with revenues at $1,850 at close of 2000.

Aggressively marketed the Anderson’s company logo and helps to message in print and television advertising campaigns and, also helps to heightening brand awareness across U.S. and European consumer markets.

COMBINATION JOB RESUME

This job resume format combines the chronological and functional formats into one! As with the functional job resume format, it lists experience and accomplishments in sections with specific headings directly applicable to the targeted position. However, it lists employment information under a SEPARATE category (only title, company, location, and dates). Since it easily tells the reader how a candidate is qualified for a position while also providing an employment history, it has fast become a favorite resume format amongst many employers and recruiters.

Combination job resume Format Example:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sales Management

Prospected and sold communications services to business accounts spanning Northeast and Midwest regions.

Flight Attendant Duties

Published by under Information

Duties of a Flight Attendant

The role of flight attendant is similar with the air hostess. In some airlines they used same term as well as air hostess com flight attendant. The duty of flight attendant is similar with passenger ships and passenger trains. But in flight, flight attendant has direct involvement with passenger because of shortest flight duration. They make necessary announcement which provides from the cabin crew and aware the passengers about the current situation of flight and the time and duration to reach the destination. The primary responsibility of the flight attendant is passenger safety.

On Board Announcement: – The Flight Attendent candidates must know how to announce on air and how to pass the message for the passengers. Some announcements are as follows:
- Welcome to the air flight company to passenger on flight time as same as An Air Hostess.
- We are going from starting point to Destination Airport in starting session of flight.
- The current temperature of the flight and the destination city.
- Flight timing and aviation board rules and regulation ( Do and Don’t).
- What should passenger do when service is needed (for passenger service)?
- Altitude of the air flight limit etc………….

General Safety Procedures: - Flight Attendent candidates should know the basic safety procedures. You can see in the flight duration the air hostess and other cabin members are told the passengers about the emergency exit and how to fix the Oxygen mask when the air pressure is low in the air. In same time The Air hostess are teach you that how to wear the life jacket and how to survive in accidental conditions. Likely those emergency procedures are taught in the Air hostess training program.
